Giveaway – Win a David Charles Luxury Dress of your choice

Elizabeth is at that age where she is growing out of younger girls styled clothing but not yet old enough that I am happy with her wearing some of the clothes aimed at teenagers. This year we have quite a few family parties and special occasions that means she needs something pretty to wear. Thankfully I was offered the opportunity to review two David Charles Spring Summer girls designer dresses and I even have one to give away to one lucky reader as well.

As we had two dresses to choose form I let Elizabeth choose the first dress. She is going through a goth/alternative phase at the moment and loves everything black so she was really happy to spot this beautiful dress. This dress is made from a lovely thick material which means that it hangs well and doesn’t look creased after she sits down in it. The shoulder detailing is fantastic and she absolutely loves this dress. This is a definite winner for a party dress for her and she felt really grown up in it yet as a parent I loved the fact that it wasn’t too short.

This beautiful full-length blue dress was my choice and one that will be perfect for a family christening we will be attending in October. The cut out shoulders with frills adds a touch of edginess to the dress whilst the long length makes it perfect for all sorts of occasions. Despite the look on her face she actually really likes this dress and it has become a firm favourite with her already wearing it to a family party where she received lots of compliments.

So now the important bit. Whether you are looking for a more casual dress like the ones above for if you are after the perfect bridesmaids dress then David Charles Childrens Wear has an amazing selection and one lucky winner will be able to choose one of their Spring Summer Collection dresses to win.

To enter visit the David Charles website and choose a dress from the Spring Summer Collection then let me know in the comments below what dress you chose and where you can imagine it will be worn. Don’t worry this doesn’t have to be the actual dress you would choose if you win, just a bit of fun so use your imagination if you want. After you have done this fill in the rafflecopter form below and get some additional entries.

  1. My little girl is going to be turning 3 soon. She’s absolutely obsessed with birthdays at the moment – literally anything she picks up can instantly become a “birthday cake”, she’s constantly singing happy birthday

She keeps talking about her “pink birthday” party but sadly will be sharing the event with her little brother who’s turning 1. I’d love to be able to at least get her a gorgeous pink dress to make up for the lack of pink elsewhere The Blush Pink Brocade Party Dress would be so special

  2. The pearlescent blue ballerina gown is our favourite – but there are so many beautiful dresses to choose from, it’s difficult!

  3. i love the cand pink ballerina prom dress – it is quite expensive, but it is a dress that would be used many times and passed on to others to enjoy, too x

  4. Daisy would lovely and in theme in the Rose Pink Ruffle dress when she goes out for Sunday Afternoon Tea with Grandad in his 1930’s Austin 7

  5. I literally spent over 2 hourstrying to choose one of these dresses… in the end i chose this one Pink Contrast Skater Dress it would look perfect on my little stepdaughter and she would love it just because its pink!

  6. Wow!!! Never have I ever come across such beautiful and unique dresses (with such a variety too)

My favourite would have to be the ‘Cream Floral Party Gown’, it would mean a lot to win this too as my darling daughter (4) has fought with her Epilepsy since she was 2 years old, she’s starting ‘big school’ in a few weeks and I’m so anxious for the transition.. she’s very frightened too.

But one thing she loves the most is dressing up and ‘looking pretty like mummy ‘ and I know she’d be twirling around in this beautiful dress beaming with happiness.

We have mine/my husbands 9 year anniversary approaching and she would look absolutely stunning wearing this dress for our special evening meal.

    Fingers crossed!

  7. Oh my goodness, was so hard to choose just one dress, they are all so beautiful, but i did get it down to one and thats the Sugar Pink Tiered Party dress, its gorgeous
