We travel a lot and the kids need to find ways to entertain themselves for long periods of time. Car Journeys are usually easy as we use our in Car DVD players to keep them occupied for hours. However hanging around in the airport or being on a plane was a whole new experience for us last year and I have definitely learnt a few things.
When traveling with the kids we have always packed a bag per child filled with their own things to keep them occupied. Colouring books, toys, cuddly toys and some form of childrens tablet to keep them busy. Unfortunately they are growing up too quickly and consoles like the Mobigo are too childish for them now.
APH thought that a 3DS would be the perfect games console for the job as it can grow with them. This would be a great distraction for a long journeys either in the car, train or on an airplane. They are offering one lucky reader a 3DS console with games of their own.
