What Matters to you? #WhatMattersMost

What if there is a fire, the family and pets are safe, you have time to grab one thing, what would it be?

What is it that matters to you so much that you would risk returning to a burning building to save?

John Lewis Insurance are currently running a competition which ends on Wednesday 26th March  to win £500 John Lewis Partnership vouchers and all you have to do to enter is to take a photo of what matters most to you and tell them why it is important to you in just six words. They are looking for photos of keepsakes or memorabilia that really means something to you.

It got me thinking, what would I save?

Would I save our wedding album?
Well, in this day and age our photos are all stored digitally so we could always make a new album.

Would I save my laptop? Or my Camera?

I couldn’t imagine living without either but they would be easily replaced.

I am not an overly sentimental person so there isn’t really anything that I would rescue for myself but when it comes to my girls there are so many things that I would want to save. The build a bears that we had made when they were born, the trinkets and jewellery they were given at their christenings. Their Christening dresses that we have stored away safe.

After losing and then finding cuddly cow a few weeks ago there is only one answer to what I would save. The girls comforters.

What have other people been sharing as the item that matters the most to them?  I had a look at the gallery and pulled out four of my favourites.
