Not only has it been really busy but it has been a dreadful weekend to be on a diet.
We spent Saturday traveling to London and back to go to spend time at the Squashies Tea Party at the Museum of Childhood. I was really disappointed that we didnt have time to look around the museum but Elizabeth was getting tired and we still had to get back to Manchester.
It was a really good day and it was lovely to not only meet up with some of my favourite bloggers but to also see our children make friends. Elizabeth is now firm friends with Roo from Boo, Roo and Tigger too and Alison really enjoyed playing with everyone including Daddacool‘s brood and Emmy from Emmys Mummy.
Far too many sweets and lots of excitement meant two very tired girls fell asleep on the tube, thank god we had the pushchairs. Mind you saying that, London underground and two pushchairs was never really going to be a good idea was it?
We had so much fun at the Elite Magazine Birthday party but I wish the girls had been more in to the experience. Elizabeth was having a bad day, the last session of Chemotherapy seems to have really taken its toll so she missed out on being turned into a princess and she didn’t feel in the mood for Crocodile Joe. Alison however had a fabulous time, she had her nails painted green and loved the animals that Crocodile Joe had brought with him.
So a full on busy weekend and we will be having another busy week next week with a Blogs Up North meetup at Legoland Discovery on Thursday to see the unveiling of the Star Wars exhibit and another meetup on Saturday at the Imperial War Museum. .
