What a week!

Sometimes I feel as though I dont stop and this last week or so definitely feels like that. On 3rd October I held Blog On Win in Winchester with the help of Kara from Chelsea Mamma and then I went from there straight to Butlins to drink far too much on an adults only break. I will tell you now that a hangover and archery just don’t mix.

After heading back it was straight into being a parent again as I had the first meeting with the local mental health team about Elizabeth. I am not sure we got very far but I have another appointment next week without her present so I will be able to ask more questions then.

On Friday, I headed to the Trafford Centre for lunch at the brand new Wagamamas restaurant which is the biggest one in the UK! It really was fab and it was great to see some of the dishes being cooked as well as sampling some new dishes on the menu. We love Wagamamas for the whole family as even the kids eat noodles so I look forward to taking them to the new restaurant sometime soon.

Unfortunately last week we received the news I was dreading about Elizabeth’s benefits and found out that we had two weeks before we have to hand our car back to the Motability team. This prompted a mad scramble car hunt over the weekend and the purchase of my new play thing. Hunting for a car that is good on the motorway for all the travelling and yet big enough to fit all of the blog on goody bags inside was a challenge but I think this beast does the job.

Although having two cars this week has made the school runs a lot easier my stress levels have been through the roof as I pulled together the final details for My Xmas Tombola which went live earlier today. I also had sick kids, a hearing test for Alison and a to-do list that is longer than my arm, it really has been one of those weeks.

Last night  was a welcome break from the stress as we were given the opportunity to go to Disney on Ice at the Phones 4 U Arena in Manchester.  We had special Meet and Greet tickets which meant we went into a private room before hand to meet Mickey and Minnie. I didn’t realise that this also meant we were in a room with all the celebrities, I really wish I was better at putting names to faces because I had no idea who 99% of them were apart from the fact I recognised their faces. Disney on Ice was fantastic once again and it really didn’t disappoint at all. It was the first time that Frozen has come to Manchester and it really was spectacular to watch. I will be doing a separate post to show you some of my other photos but I thought you might like this one.

The week is nearly over thankfully and I am looking forward to spending some quality time with the kids this weekend after neglecting them the last few weeks but before I go I thought I should give you the link to my Xmas Tombola because everyone of you should enter. It’s simple to enter, every prize is worth £50 or over and there is over £2800 worth of prizes available with something suitable for most people. Why not check it out?
