Looking for Weight Loss supplements this January?

January 15, 2018 Off By Laura TMOT

It is January, the month for signing up to the gym and going on a diet. Google searches for weight loss aids are through the roof but there are so many options available that it is hard to find the right one for you. Below I will look at a variety of different weight loss aids, supplements and meal replacement programmes.

Drop Away have a variety of different natural weight loss supplements. They sent me the Max Effect Trio. This 30-day plan contains three different types of capsules and the Advanced Plus Plan which is a healthy eating plan that cuts down on Carbohydrates, Sugar and Fats. They have a special facebook support group to help you along the way as well. You take 2 Boost capsules in the morning with food and then 1 of each of the Curb and Advanced Plus capsules 3 times a day with food. The curb tablets recommend that you should drink a minimum of 2 litres of water a day. All three of these capsules are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Lepicol lighter is a powder that needs to be mixed with a glass of water or juice and drank 10 minutes before a meal 3 times a day.  Lepicol is a high fibre product that helps to maintain blood glucose levels and helps to feel you feeling full which reduces the amount of food you can eat in one sitting. For Lepicol Lighter to work you need to be on an energy restricted diet. Lepicol is gluten-free.

Tribitor is a 3-phase carbohydrate blocker that you dissolve in a glass of water and drink 15 minutes before eating high GI foods such as fizzy drinks, bread, sweets and pasta. Tribitor contains three active ingredients that provide complex action, inhibiting both digestion and absorption of carbohydrates. If you are following a healthy diet but know that you may have the occasional blip or if you have a sweet tooth then Tribitor might be the perfect weight loss supplement for you to support you on your journey.

Formoline L112 is the number 1 weight loss supplement in Germany. Formoline L112 should be taken as 2 tablets twice a day with the meals that have the highest fat content. They should be taken towards the end of our meal. Formoline L112 works by binding fat and preventing you from digesting it. Unlike Drop Away and Tribitor which work with the carbohydrates, these work best to combat a diet full of fatty meats and full-fat dairy products.

Slimming whilst you sleep seems to good to be true but slim-nite promises to help. A supplement that contains three essential amino acids which are meant to aid weight loss. You take three capsules before bed and the amino acids stimulate a surge in HGH which helps cells to break down stored fat as well as prevent fat storage from the undigested food. Slim-nite is gluten and lactose-free.

If you are looking for food substitutes rather than supplements then the LighterLife fast products could be perfect for you. The aim of LighterLife fast is to follow the concept of the 5:2 diet where you eat a balanced diet for 5 days and then fast for 2 days. To ensure you get your daily nutrients you should consume 4 of the LighterLife fast products on your fast days. These will have 800 kcals or less in total. The lighter life fast products that I was sent tasted pretty good for low-calorie items with the crispy peanut bars being my favourite item.

If you are looking for a bit more of a lifestyle change then the YorkTest Ideal Weight Programme could be of interest. YorkTest Ideal Weight Programme will test your blood for an IgG reaction to 158 foods and drinks and you will then be given a 12 week low GI plan to help eliminate your problem foods and balance your diet.  You also get support from a registered nutritional therapist. I will be writing more about this as I have posted my test to find out what my problem foods are and see if eliminating them will really make a difference to how I feel.

There are so many different weight loss supplements and plans out there and these are only a few that I have come across. They combat different parts of your diet and are taken at different times so you need to research and find out which one works for you.

Let me know if you have any questions about any of them or if you have tried any other ones which have worked for you.
