La La La La La,
La La La La La La La La La lala,
oooh oooh ooooooooh
Laa Laa Laa La La”
“Whats love got to do, got to do with it? Whats love but a second hand emotion”.
So what has love got to do with it? Well …
“I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my bones, Love is all around me and so the feeling grows“
Yep I feel like I am going to be sick..
“I’m sick of love but I’m in the thick of it
This kind of love I’m so sick of it”
Valentines day was good when you were a kid at school, it was cute, it was your one chance to show someone that you fancied them but really what good ever came out of that. All I remember about valentines day at school is either the embarassment over the lack or the amount of cards, the pure shame when your secret crush finds out it was you and laughs or worse tells everyone and they all laugh at you.
As you might have guessed we do not celebrate valentines day in our house, why should we waste money on tacky things for each other to show each other we love them, we do that every day in the little things we do. He washes up, I cook dinner, when I go shopping I might buy him a little extra treat, he makes me coffee without asking, these are the things that make us know we love each other and not a fluffy heart or half dead rose in sight.
So whilst you are all being sickening lovey dovey and wasting your money on tacky pink hearts I have decided to go hide away somewhere nice, you might have heard of it.
Its the love shack, its a little old shack where we can get together
Love Shack baby, Love Shack bay-bee.
Love Shack, baby Love Shack, Love Shack, baby Love Shack!
*If these songs are now stuck in your head you only have UKMUMS.tv to blame, honest , they dared me to do it see here.
