Netflix understand how difficult Christmas can be so they put together a fabulous Christmas survival guide for members of their stream team and I can tell you that they really did come to my rescue. To start with the Bear yoyo’s kept the kids quiet long enough for me to take some nurofen and run myself a nice bath with my Jo Malone bath oil. With my new Jo Malone candle burning in the bathroom I escaped for some much needed down time before tackling the rest of the wrapping.
Netflix didn’t just come to the rescue with their survival box they also came to the rescue many times when I was fed up of all the Christmas films on the tv. Nothing makes me feel less festive that looking through the TV listings at the beginning of December and seeing the word Christmas everywhere.
I spent December watching all sorts of films including The Hobbit and the girls enjoyed watching shows such as Ever after High and Almost Naked Animals. The thing that made the most difference this Christmas was being able to take Netflix with us when we visited family so no more bored kids sat in the corner looking miserable, instead they sat quietly with their headphones on catching up on some of their favourite shows.
