Slimefest is back for 2018

Last year every time the Slimefest advert came on Nickelodeon I had one very disappointed daughter. You see the idea of seeing some of her favourite Nickelodeon stars on stage whilst getting covered in Slime is like a dream come true for Alison and with Slimefest taking place in Blackpool it is easy for us to travel to as well. Unfortunately for her, we had a holiday booked for a week in Morocco hence the disappointment.

This year there will be no disappointed looks as Slimefest is coming back and the dates are firmly in my diary so I can ensure that she can have a fun filled slime covered day. Slimefest will be held at Blackpool Pleasure beach on 20th to 22nd October with afternoon and evening shows and tickets are on sale now.

Now if you have never heard of Slimefest you might be wondering what exactly I am going on about. Well, Nickelodeon organises a fantastic event which features slime, music and mayhem with a mix of music acts, special guests and lots and lots of slime. Last year saw the likes of JoJo Siwa, Pixie Lott, The Vamps, Professor Green, Matt Terry, New Hope Club, 5 After Midnight as well as School of Rockstars Breanna Yde and Ricardo Hurtado.

Alison is a huge School of Rock fan so she was gutted that she missed seeing Ricardo and Breanna on stage and even though Nickelodeon show clips on tv afterwards it just isn’t the same.

Slimefest 2017 welcomed 12,000 guests to six sell-out shows and used over 9,000 litres of slime (don’t worry parents there are slime free zones as well as the slime pit so you won’t get covered as well).
