Mario & Sonic Blogger Challengers: Week Two

So here we are, the second week of the Winter Olympics in Sochi and two more challenges to tackle.  Can Hubby better any of the scores from Vancouver 2010 using Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games for the Wii U? Well let’s find out…

Snowboarding (Halfpipe)

At the last Winter Olympics Shaun White of USA managed to secure the gold with a run that scored 48.4 points.  As you can see Hubby easily bettered that score (somehow he managed to perform a 1440 degree spin?) but was unable to take first place.  His Mii character doesn’t look too happy either.

Figure Skating

This has got to be Elizabeth’s favourite game on Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics.  She always has to be Peach (obviously because her outfit is pink).  In 2010, gold was won by South Korea with a score of 78.50.  So again Hubby was pleased that he beat another Olympic challenge.  Even his Mii character was able to crack a smile.

The Sochi Winter Olympics ends on Sunday but I know that our family will not stop playing Mario and Sonic on the Wii U.  I can guarantee that Hubby will obsessively be trying to get close to the world records for each sports.
