Looking forward to 2018

I can’t believe it is the last day of 2017. We have had a brilliant year as a family with lots of amazing adventures but my waist is still as round as it was at the beginning of the year and I have still been working far too much so I know there are things to improve in 2018. I know that both of these things are in my control to change so instead of resolutions I will be making changed instead.

If I can get to the end of 2018 being fitter and happier in my body and having spent less time working and more time with my family then I know I will have succeeded.

2017 has seen my business grow rapidly, with two conferences and multiple clients who I now work with on a monthly basis I need to work on organising myself a bit more. I had a good balance at the beginning of the year but this went out of the window over the summer holidays and as the review workload piled up. To help to keep the balance in 2018 I will be YouTube toy reviews with my daughters as these take me less time that written reviews. They want their YouTube channel to grow so we need to put in the time and effort to ensure they post regularly. This means there will be less blog content but you will still be able to follow our adventures on social media.

As for the rounded waistline well there is only one person who can fix that and that is me. I will be concentrating on my own health and wellbeing this year and I have signed up for the Body Coach 90 Day plan which I will be starting in a few weeks. I will also be continuing to visit the gym with my personal trainer as I have been enjoying the weights sessions with him.

I know I have promised myself in the past that I will lose weight and work less but I am the only one who can make these things happen. I eat rubbish and don’t exercise enough because I don’t have time as I am always working.  If I ensure that I am not working then I will have no excuse to not eat well or exercise. It’s a catch 22 if I don’t do one I can’t do the other.

Wish me luck and good luck with whatever you plan for 2018!
