I look like my mother

I last had a hair cut at Butlins, the day of the Tots 100 xmas party. Yes for those of you who remember it that was December 2011.

It has been a long time coming and I had made the decision to get it cut and give it to the Little Princesses trust who made Elizabeth’s wig. I was going to organise a fun day and get it cut then but with everything else going on I just haven’t had the time to think about it.

My hair has been annoying me a lot recently with it becoming knotty really easily and this morning I woke up and decided enough was enough. I phone the hairdressers and I got an appointment.

I came home and Elizabeth became very upset. She said I looked like Nanny and that now she wouldn’t know the difference. I don’t mind looking like my mum but I would rather not have 24 years added onto my age just by having a hair cut.

She snapped out of it after a while and I think I am used to it now but it will take some getting used to especially as I cant just throw it into a pony tail in the mornings anymore.

I am going to post my ponytail of to the Little Princesses Trust on Monday morning and hopefully it will help give a child with cancer a smile one day.
