Its my mums birthday so I thought I would use my blog as a way of showing my appreciation, mostly because I forgot to post her birthday card. Yeah sorry about that Mum but you will get it tomorrow 🙂
Anyway on Saturday we spent an evening as just Mother and Daughter, it is something we do not do often enough and I really enjoyed it. As my mums birthday is so close to Mothers Day I decided to make a real fuss so we headed to the O2 to watch Xfactor live and to have a meal at Gaucho Grill.
Starting the evening at Gaucho was amazing and we loved everything we ate from the three different breads we were given on arrival all the way through to the amazing puddings but the best part of Gaucho is always the meat. I may have upset gaming daddy of two after i posted this picture of my blue steak on facebook, especially as he was at home eating dinner with the kids.

The steaks were amazing! We shared a rump and a fillet between us as we couldn’t decide on which one to choose. We then shared puddings too and split a gorgeous creme brulee and a cheesecake.
The night wasn’t just about the meal (although it was an amazing meal) and we headed into the O2 arena to take out seats.

It was an amazing show and I really enjoyed watching it. We also had fantastic seats which was made even better as there was a small stage near to us. I thought I would share some of my photos with you form our night together.
