Every Christmas I give the kids books at part of their Christmas presents so when Miles Kelly got in contact about their Give The Gift Of Reading campaign I knew I had to get involved.
They sent the girls a parcel of books each that are suitable for their age group. Elizabeth was sent a set of three books suitable for a child aged 7 to 8. It is a great collection of books to inspire children to enjoy reading and learning by offering a variety of subjects and styles. You can get these as an online gift set for £20 which is a saving of 47% or £17.97 on RRP.
The three books are Project Dinosaur which engages kids to learn with fun projects as well as incredible facts, artworks, cartoons and flaps to lift. Super Science Experiments which is a fantastic book, with step-by-step photos and instructions for 40 must-do experiments and Ten-minute Stories which is a wonderful collection of more than 40 timeless tales that take confident readers just 10 minutes to read.
You can get this Miles Kelly 7 to 8 year old gift set here.
Alison was sent a set of three books which each have 512 pages in them. This set is also available online for £20 saving 55% or £24.97 on RRP. The two books of 50 stories are full of short stories which are perfect for bedtime or for practicing reading. Alison is really good at reading but gets bored easily so these are great for her to read to me. The 1000 facts book is absolutely fascinating and we have enjoyed having a flick through it and pulling out random facts.
The three books in this set are
50 Utterly Silly Stories, Over 1000 Fantastic Animal Facts and 50 Toy Box Tales. You can get the Miles Kelly 512 page books gift set here
