I literally live in jeans.
I have smart jeans, comfy jeans, gardening jeans and jeans that don’t fit but I love so much I keep them in my wardrobe even though I haven’t worn them for 7 years.
I don’t however seem to have many pairs if jeans that actually fit me well anymore.
My favourite jeans are either too baggy, misshaped or broken.
I have jeans where I am constantly having to pull the zip back up because the zip is broken but I love the fit of them so I don’t want to get rid of them or I have ones that are in the drawers as a last resort when nothing else is clean.
I have a cupboard full of jeans I bought in a sale that don’t fit, where two identical pairs in different colours range so widely in size that one is too big and one far too small.
I have my favourite pair of jeans, a lovely bootcut firetrap pair that I now have to wear with a belt or my knickers are constantly on display.
I have my fat jeans, my thin jeans and my everything in between jeans but really none of them make me feel fantastic anymore.
I have to be honest with myself and finally admit that my jeans just don’t fit right anymore.
You see this is my problem, this is where my dilemma comes from, I love wearing jeans but I want to feel good about myself, I want miracle jeans, jeans that can make me feel sexy even when I am slumming it. I don’t however want to spend a fortune, I know I am still losing weight (well not during the school holidays but in general) but I don’t think I can wait much longer to get some new jeans. I also know my body shape has changed and so I was trying to work out what the right shape and style would be. Believe me when I tell you that Skinny jeans wouldnt even get past my knees.
I have an account with K&Co and I found this great video about all of the styles of jeans you can buy and it actually made all the fashion jargon make sense which for a complete fashion dimwit like me is pretty good. There is also a tab called Style and Fit which described it in more detail including the plus size jeans as well as the different cuts. The K&Co Ladies jeans ranges are actually really cool, I can search by style and size which is how I have fallen in love with a pair of Joe Browns Boyfriend jeans that are in the sale. I wonder if I can sneak them into the house without Hubby noticing? Maybe I can use the money from writing about them to actually buy them?
