Cute kids on Mothers Day

Mothers day for me is all about spending time as a family. I don’t really like presents but a hand made card and a day out together is exactly the sort of thing I enjoy.

Last year we went to feed giraffes at a local zoo and this year we will be going out for afternoon tea. I love us all getting dressed up in our best clothes for this sort of activity so when I saw the Verbaudet
( competition on Baby Budgeting I decided to enter.

To enter the competition I had to
write a post detailing the outfit
I would want my girls to wear on Mothers Day.

I loved looking at the girls range and found it so hard to choose the dress in which to base the outfit on. With Elizabeth’s help we decided on a white cotton dress with a bit of colour. Cotton dresses work really well in the hotter months and as we know we have a few weddings coming up we could use the outfit again.

Elizabeth is a complete girly girl so the purple and pink plus the delicate fabrics suit her personality so well.

When it comes to choosing clothes for Alison it becomes a lot harder. As a complete tomboy she hates all girls clothes. I always struggle to shop for her so we sat together to choose this outfit. She loves hats so we started in the accessories section and she fell in love with the hat and belt shown. Using these as a base we then went around building the rest of the outfit. The jacket is brilliant and she fell in love with it as soon as she saw it. The perfect fit jeans look amazing quality and the hard wearing jumper looks smart and warm.
I have never looked at the verbaudet site before and now I have I can’t believe what I have been missing! If the clothes are as well made and as high quality as they look then I will definitely be shopping there in the future.

The girls are already asking when their outfits will arrive so it looks like I will have to buy them the outfits they chose.

I look forward to seeing ll the other entries, they might just inspire me to add a few more items to my basket.
