It sounds simple enough, but it can be incredibly embarrassing to run out of toilet paper when you have many people over. Split it up between your bathrooms so you can be certain that no-one will run out.
Dishwasher Breaking Down
Feeding a lot of mouths? Lots of people means lots of plates. Even if you use paper plates, there is still going to be a chance that you will have to wash up something and that means you cannot risk your dishwasher breaking.

Dodgy Lights
Whether they are inside or outside lights, you don’t want a bulb to go and plunge everyone into darkness. The night before everyone arrives, switch on all your lamps and do a circuit to make sure that no bulbs look like they might go out. Tiny flickers or dim lights might be a key sign that things are about to fail. Bulbs are not expensive and they are easy to replace. Lost Visitors
No matter where you live, there is always a chance someone will get lost on the way to you. If you have an event page on social media, put clear directions to your home so everyone will know where you are. You should also keep your phone close by you until everyone has arrived. This means that everyone will be able to get in touch with you if they need a little extra help finding you.
